Once upon a time, in a vibrant green forest, there lived a hardworking ant named Andy. Andy spent his days collecting food and preparing for the winter. He would wake up early and gather grains, carrying them back to his home with great determination. He never stopped, always focused on his task.
One sunny afternoon, Andy saw a beautiful butterfly named Bella fluttering through the flowers. Bella danced joyfully from blossom to blossom, sipping nectar, and playing in the breeze.
“Why don’t you come and enjoy the sunshine with me?” Bella called to Andy. “You’re always working so hard!”
Andy smiled and replied, “I have to gather enough food for the winter, Bella. When the cold comes, there won’t be any flowers left to play with.”
Bella laughed and said, “Winter is so far away! There’s plenty of time for that. Come enjoy the moment!”
But Andy shook his head and went back to his work. Days passed, and soon the leaves began to fall, and the air turned chilly. Winter was coming fast. Bella, realizing there were no more flowers, became worried. She had nothing to eat.
Cold and hungry, Bella flew to Andy’s home. “Andy,” she said sadly, “I should have prepared like you did. Can you help me?”
Andy, kind-hearted and wise, shared some of his food with Bella. “It’s never too late to learn,” he said. “There’s a time to play and a time to work. Both are important.”
Bella nodded and promised to be more like Andy in the future. From that day on, she learned the balance between work and fun, and she never went hungry again.
Moral: There’s a time for everything—enjoy the moment, but always plan ahead for the future!
