THE ADJECTIVE ADVENTURE
There was a tall and skinny giraffe named Opinion. He had two best friends, a huge elephant named Size and an old owl named Oldie.
One day, they met a group of animals whose leader was a round and chubby bear named
“Shape”. Shape challenged them to a race, and Opinion formed a team with Size and Oldie to compete against Shape and his friends, an orange flamingo named “Orangie” and a British goose.
During the race, Opinion, Size, and Oldie worked together to overcome obstacles and crossed the finish line in first, second, and third place.
After the race, Opinion, Size, and Oldie realized that the order of adjectives was important in describing their unique qualities. Opinion was a tall and skinny giraffe, Size was a large and strong
elephant, and Oldie was an old and wise owl. They found out that the order of adjectives can make big difference in how we describe people, animals, or things. Shape finished in fourth place, and Orangie and the British Goose came in fifth and sixth place.
